Pre-Requisites

Please provide the following when booking your exam:

  • RT SNT L2 certification

For Employers booking with Array Training Limited for the first time, please also provide:

  • Company Written Practice (CWP)

  • RT Inspection Procedure

Interested in Refresher Training?

INTERESTED IN REFRESHER TRAINING?

We find that candidates who book at least a half or 1 day of refresher training prior to their recertification examination feel more confident in attempting the renewal examination.

Whats included in refresher training?

By booking in refresher training, the student will receive a refresher on elements that may be covered in the recertification examination. This may include theory or practical samples. With guidance of our NDT Trainers students can choose to refresher using mock theory papers or be set up with practical samples to test and report on using technical instruction. Students will be provided with a brief summary on their performance prior to the student sitting the examination.

Please note: Refresher Training is not a one-to-one basis. The Students refresher training elements (e.g. theory papers, samples etc.) will be initially be set up by the NDT Trainer who will be available to answer any questions between their respective duties.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are booking and paying for your SNT examination as a self-sponsored candidate, your exam results will be issued directly to your employer, as SNT is a company-owned certification scheme.

Exam Content

This SNT recertification examination may consist of the following elements (examination content is in accordance with the Employers SNT-TC-1A Company Written Practice):

  • *Specific Theory Papers:
    • 1x RT Specific Theory Paper (to be confirmed)
    • 1x RI Specific Theory Paper (to be confirmed)
  • 2x Light Metals Graphs (mix of Gamma Ray/X-ray)
  • 2x Dense Metals Graphs (mix of Gamma Ray/X-ray)

* The specific paper will be in accordance with the industry standard reference in your company’s CWP document and NDT inspection procedure.

Examination – Approx. 2 Hours.
